new toy
so today we had our product demo for the agilent E5270 whiz-bang electronics parameter tester thingee. that's the technical term, btw. all in all, it looks like it's pretty cool and will do all sorts of cool stuff with high precision. now i just have to figure out how to make it work and how to get it to be able to make measurements from the tissue, which isn't exactly what it was designed for. nevertheless, this is pretty much the hammer we have. science!

The E5270, eh? Page 377 of the troubleshooting guide states,
Device doesn't give correct results:
a. Ensure device is plugged in. (Section 1.1)
b. Ensure device is turned on. (Section 1.1.2)
c. Try whacking device with a wrench. (may void warranty)
